Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Stuffing Sept. 21

Come enjoy great family time and fall fun at James City County’s annual Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Stuffing! The event is Saturday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Chickahomimy Riverfront Park. Festivities include arts and crafts, food ($), games, pony rides ($), a petting zoo, inflatables and much more! All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by adults.

Featured activities include:

  • Scarecrow Stuffing will be back again! Make the biggest, the best, and maybe the only scarecrow in your neighborhood! $20/scarecrow (includes all supplies). Cash/check only. First-come, first-served while supplies last.

  • Hampton Roads Fun Bus, a mobile kids gym offering fitness classes for ages 18 months to 7 years in a colorful, FUN and safe environment.

  • Music and Games under the Main Stage

  • Roaming Characters: 12:30-1:30 p.m. and 2-3 p.m.

  • Petting Zoo

  • Pony Rides ($)

Admission is $5/car and $20/scarecrow. Don’t forget your camera! Weather permitting; please call the Activities Hotline at 757-259-3232 if inclement weather is in the forecast.
