    James City County Fire Department participates in community events that are free and open to the public, as scheduling permits. Requests are subject to availability. All trucks are staffed by on-duty personnel. Due to emergency calls, appearances may be delayed, interrupted, or canceled without notice. During events trucks must be parked in a location that allows for quick, safe exit. The location and placement of fire trucks is the final decision of the company officer.
